Hi Im Allie, I am 23 years old and currently going to school to be a cosmetologist! I am looking for a fun family who's life’s I can hopefully make a little bit easier by taking care and loving their little ones. A bit about me is I was born and raised in Washington state, I have 5 sisters, 3 nieces and 1 nephew, I have a little Yorkie name Auggie who is 10 months and the sweetes little dog you'll ever meet! I grew up a gymnast and soccer player so I love doing anything active or outdoors, but can also be down to curl up with a good book and of course a diet coke. I absolutely adore kids, I have sense I was a young girl. My family calls me the baby whisperer because somehow I can get any baby to fall asleep haha! I look forward to getting to know you and your family to see if we are a good fit for one another!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have many different job experiences that involve working with children. I worked at Walt Disney World where I interacted with children all day long. I also have many years of experience babysitting. I babysat for a lot of different families all growing up, as well as watching my nieces and nephews on countless occasions, sometimes over night. I have a lot of experience with young children and newborns.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love reading books, making up games, playing games both indoors and outdoors. Doing any type of arts and crafts. Going on walks or going outside to ride scooters or bikes! One of my favorite activities sense I was a kid is playing with sidewalk chalk so that is something I enjoy doing! I also enjoy baking so I do that a lot with the children I watch. Basically anything that doesn't involve sitting in front of a screen all day!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love that being a nanny your job is to love and care for children. To teach them and help them grow in so many different ways, every single day! Its amazing what kids at such a young age learn from the people they are around the most, so it is important to show them love, and respect, and kindness. It is important as a nanny to be a good example to even the youngest of kids.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not had the opportunity to watch and children that have special needs, but my Mom is a teacher for special needs students, so I have got to watch her take care of them and have learned so much from her on how to handle certain situations.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I used to watch 2 children when I was 16 years old. I babysat for their family a lot. One of the little boys was 4 years old, and he would always try and copy things that he would hear other people say. Well I had made dinner and we sat at the table to eat. He took a couple bites and then dropped his fork and said very loudly "NO OFFENSE ALLIE, BUT THIS DINNER IS REALLY GOOD!" I don't think he understood exactly what the term "No offense" meant. To this day I still use the term "No offense" incorrectly.
