While I worked as a teachers assistant at a preschool back home (MD), there were several children with special needs in my classes, whom I worked very closely with, in the classroom, to provide and enjoyable, comfortable, and safe environment for them to thrive in, just as every child deserves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would absolutely be watching two of my favorite little girls grow up along the many years I worked with them. When we first started together, the girls were 1 and 3 years old and extremely shy. Now the girls are 7 and 9, nearly knock me over with hugs when I come over, and truly are like family to me. The girls are both playing competitive soccer, looking to play for club teams that will take them into middle school/high school and talk about babysitting my kids one day! Crazy
