I have been working in childcare since my younger siblings were born, specifically when two of my three younger siblings were born/adopted. I officially started working in childcare my junior year of high school when I started in the after-school daycare program at Trinity Christian Academy; I have worked with kids from three to 12 years old. Following high school, I was hired for a full-time summer nanny job. From August 2019 to August 2021, I worked steadily for a family until it was time to transfer colleges. During this past year, August 2021-May 2022, I worked with a family with two children.
