I’ve been working at the YMCA in our childcare program for 2 years, and have been in the role of the Family Engagement Advisor for 10 months now. I plan out daily activities, crafts, dress up days and more for the kids. I've been working with the kids at my church for 7 years where I did lesson plans and teach classes (Prek, K-1). I wasn't getting paid, I was doing it as volunteer work but of course I loved it either way.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love dancing and doing karaoke with kids. I also enjoy doing hands-on projects like arts and crafts. I enjoy teaching kids how to play card games and board games, it's one of my favorite things to do! I am a very outdoor person, I love to go on walks, swim, play all sorts of sports, and of course going to the playground. I also love to just chill inside and read or do some imaginary play.
