A little bit about me

I am a current college student studying psychology with stress to infant and adolescent subjects Many of the children I have worked with believed me to be their friend not their babysitter, allowing me to connect in a deeper, stressless way. I engage children in age appropriate games and activities to keep their minds and bodies active. Working with the children themselves to find activities they enjoy allows me to get to know them as well as provide them with something they want to do rather than something they have to do. I find great joy in caring for others and making sure families feel safe and secure leaving their children in someone else's care. I grew up playing soccer, softball, basketball, gymnastics, the violin and the piano. Along with this I have been a 3.0+ student academically and took part in service club. With this, I can relate to all different interests children may express. I look forward to working with all the beautiful families I may encounter!
