A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Ally Anderson. I come from a small town of Pine River, Minnesota. I am recently married and have moved down to the Perham area with my Husband.

Some fun facts about me, I once lived on a farm with over 2,500 horses and 3,000 cows. We have a few pigs and to many chickens. I worked on braking horses in for others to ride as well as buying and selling. In the summer I work as a counselor at Camp Lebanon, here I teach all ages of children about the never ending love that God has for us and help lead them to Christ in anyway I can. I absolutely love my job! Another fun fact about my self is that I was crowned 2nd Princess of Miss.Pine River 2018. ( although I am the opposite of girly) I have enjoyed sharing the gospel though my time as a Princess!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a daycare back home! I worked from infants all the way up to 5th grade and I loved every moment of it. From a constructive day of learning and playing, to interacting with each individual child, it was by far the best job! Along with this, as I have mentioned earlier, I worked many summers at Camp Lebanon and I was responsible for up to 10 girls for ages 5-18.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

The outdoors is where I spend most of my time. From allowing children to build in the sand to playing in mud puddles, WE LOVE IT ALL! I also like to do sensory bins with children to allow them to experience and explore for themselves! Reading is also an important part to our day and so it getting our energy out.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Providing a safe space for a child to soar with there imagination! The outdoors is a great place for this, building sand castles, playing at the park. Along with this giving children a safe space to grow is an important factor in every child’s development!
