Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a behavioral therapist with children as young as 3 years old to teenagers that had developmental delays. I worked at an elementary for 7 years ages ranging from 4years old to 13year old. I babysit both my neices the youngest being 3 months and the oldest 6 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to engage in activities that help the children improve their fine and gross motor skills such as running , drawing , writing , walking , skipping etc. I like to balance outdoor play and indoor and get input of what the children want to do . I enjoy implementing kinesthetic activities along with kinesthetic activities to engage all muscles , and brain activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being vigiliant is the most important part . If you arent devoted 24/7 while on watch then you are lacking . Children see, hear , feel everything they know when they are being ignored and unloved . You have to always been aware of your surrounds , attention to detail and alway ready to jump.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked as a behavioral therapist for 2 years the age group ranged 3-13 years olds. I worked as a counselor for adults with disabilities for 3 years and 1 year as care giver for adults with disabilities. The skills rolled over from what i used with children to what i use with the adults.,

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making new memories with the children and families . I love seeing the children grow and see them thrive in life. My favorite moment was was seeing a ETK child become a successful teenager , he passed by my gate while i was working and he stated that it was first day of high school. That moment i knew that i had helped him growth , thrive and become a beautiful pre-adult .
