A little bit about me

My name is Alma and I absolutely love caring for children. My husband and I have two children of our own, both of which have special learning difference that we enjoy watching learn and grow. I am a compassionate, loving, and creative Licensed Social Worker. I have years of child care experience, supporting youth in all stages of development. Discovering their unique personalities is a pure delight in my life. My goal is to meet every child right where they are at and to engage with them in a way that is mindful and respectful to them and their families. I seriously love hanging out with children. They are so full of awesome energy and such a joy to be around. I am passionate about children because you can learn a lot from them, like how to enjoy the simple things in life. Things that make my heart overflow with joy are cooking, crafting, dance parties when life meets the top of my capacity meter, reading books, taking walks and meeting people of all different cultures.
