I grew up in a big family so I was/am always surrounded by younger children and I always feel like I have a closer connection to them! I was always the niece that was put on babysitting duty but honestly I would sometimes do it just for fun because I really do enjoy being around kids!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like to really become an expert in the child’s interests! I like to have the child’s interests and feelings feel heard and recognized so really any interest that the child has I will do my best to excel in it! I like to do puzzles and do outside activities like jump rope or drawing with chalk. I try to steer away from technology and get into the arts!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about being a nanny is having a close connection with the child. To earn the respect of the child rather than to demand it. I also think you kind of have to be the child’s best friend!
