Being a nanny isn’t like any other job. It’s not about going in and working your hours and receiving a paycheck. For me, it’s about building a relationship with both the parents and the kids. A relationship where they both know they can count on me for anything at any given moment. One where they feel free to be themselves around me and aren’t afraid to goof off as a family.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I got the opportunity to work with a family who set milestone goals they wished their little one to accomplish. It was a huge blessing to see that by the end of my term, she had not only reached her goals, but even developed more. All those little videos and pictures I took each time she achieved her milestones, it was super rewarding to share with her parents. I loved staying and seeing her show her parents in person and seeing her parents overjoyed was one of the most rewarding moments in the job.
