Hello, my names Alyssa and I’m a college student at CSUF majoring in Sociology. In high school I was in a child development program for three years. In those classes, culinary was included to meals aren’t a problem. I also have been a tutor for 5 years so I can help with homework. I have been a babysitter since I was 14 for my siblings, cousins, family friends, and neighborhood children. I also have experience with taking care of my autistic cousin and my sibling who has Down syndrome. I enjoy playing with kids and teaching them new things. I like to make sure to keep them away from technology with being outdoors or doing crafts. I have a lot of energy and patience and willing to do whatever to make your life a little bit easier.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I helped run a. basketball camp for girls from kinder to middle school. They were put on three times a year for 2 weeks at a time. The kids would get there at 8 and leave at 2pm. I was in charge of the kids with disabilities and making sure they got modified drills and felt included in all of our games we played.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy arts and crafts which includes baking and decorating.I also enjoy playing dress up with kids and putting on little talent shows. I really enjoy being outside and using our imaginations to come up with games. Music is also a great way to pass time to dance and sing. Anything that will stimulate them or anything the child wants to play I am 100% game for.
