My names Alyssa and I was born and raised in Colorado! I love hiking, trying new things, traveling, and really anything that brings me excitement! I have a passion for working with kids and have experience as a lead teacher at Primrose for about 2 years, 28 certificates in early childhood education(Colorado Shines PDIS), and my CPR and First aid certificates! My main class was early pre-school which is 2-3yrs but I worked in other classes before being set that ranged from 4 months-7 years! My biggest goal when working with kids is all in all to build good connections with them and hopefully become someone they look up too! Im the oldest to 6 younger brothers so I always grew up around younger kids to be a mentor too!

I worked as a lead teacher at Primrose for about 2 years! I have my CPR and First Aid certification (I think they might need to be renewed i’m more than happy too) I took the class early 2022! I have my Colorado Shines (PDIS) certifications which include 28 classes about early childhood and have my lead teacher certification for early childcare in Colorado!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

When the weather is nice I like going to the park, pool, and the zoo or something that the kiddos will enjoy too! When it tends to be cold I like to go to muesums, color, and watch movies or do puzzles!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I strive to be a great role model for kids and someone they can be comfortable with and build a connection with! The most important part of working with kids to me is making sure i’m doing my part to make their day better!
