A little bit about me

With a degree in Global Studies and minor in Poverty, Inequality, and Social Justice, I am working towards creating frameworks that uplift and embolden kids within globally underserved communities. While I don’t have kids of my own quite yet, working with them has been absolutely fulfilling.

Having worked with kids of various ages and communities, I’ve quickly discovered there’s nothing I love more. Some of my experience includes, working with kids ages 4- 13 as a summer camp teacher in the Tenderloin of San Francisco for two years, privately tutoring/ babysitting lower elementary ages, and mentoring middle school age kids. Additionally, I have first-hand experience having helped raise my three nieces.

Kids are the most interesting humans and I love helping them discover their passions! I recognize that as much as I have to offer to all young people I meet, the relationship is mutually beneficial, as I always find they teach me just as much.
