A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Alyssa Whittemore. I started babysitting in sixth grade and went on to nanny two children in our neighborhood. While I attended Franklin High, I took a Healthcare class where I learned CPR. I also took a class called, Early Childhood Education for two years. I really enjoyed this class. There I got to work with babies, toddlers, and children up to 5 years old on a daily basis. With these children we created a classroom for them by coming up with educational activities for them to do and games for them to play. I have had experience working with children who have special needs as well. In the past, I have been a worker at SACC. There I worked with children who were kindergarten- 5th grade. Anyways, I'm currently studying to become a Pediatric Social Worker. I'm hoping to get a job that will help me continue to learn about children and get more experience with them.
