A little bit about me

As an art teacher with 5 years of experience, I am dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for my students. I obtained my masters in general and special education for grades 1-6 and have had the privilege of teaching various grade levels, including kindergarten, second, third, and first.

In 2021, I took on the exciting challenge of starting a new art program for a newly founded middle school campus, demonstrating my ability to successfully build and lead a program from the ground up.

Currently, I am the art teacher for grades Pre-k to 5th at the Department of Education, where I also serve as the art liaison and I am taking over the program as the previous long-term teacher has retired.

Before my career as a teacher, I gained valuable experience working as a babysitter and nanny for multiple families, caring for children as young as 1. My passion for working with children is evident and I am eager to continue nurturing and inspiring young minds.
