Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor: have a tea party, have a dance party, make slime, make cupcakes, build a fort, build paper airplanes, learn a new animal or letter of the alphabet, play keep the balloon up, play hot potatoes or his and seek.
Outdoors: obstacle course, freeze tag, play in the sprinkler, pitch a tent and go on a camping trip, star gaze, find leaves for projects, hopscotch .

My experience with special needs children...
My best friend has two boys ages 6&8 who are autistic. One is verbal somewhat and one is non verbal. I've been with those precious boys since birth. Ive done the sleepless nights. The yelling. The hitting. The biting. I been to appointments with her and alone with those boys. I've watched them both for weeks at a time. They are smart and sweet all while being bratty and escaping. Patience is what I believe to be key.
