More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Professional nanny. I've been working with different kids. I'm about to break down my experience for you.
Zoey (1-year-old girl): The cutest baby ever. It's a great job because I spend most of the time playing with her. Also, she's of Japanese descent, so it's like a cultural exchange. She lives in an apartment, so we play together on the balcony and then sometimes we use the playground that is inside the building where she can play with other kids.
Melissa (5-year-old girl): I love this job, especially because she enjoys doing the same things I do, like playing checkers together. She's the oldest one I take care of and she usually invites her friend Ana to come over, so I basically watch 2 kids at the same time.
Betina and Lila (4 and 3 year-old): I have to arrive early and wait for the kids to wake up. Then I make breakfast and change their clothes. We usually have proper spaces to play in, like rooms made for the kids with all their toys inside, based on the Montessori education.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
One of the things I love doing is teaching children to speak different languages, like Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French. Also, I love training them to read and write. I usually come up with a lot of different things to entertain them, like baking, dancing, playing pretend, hide-and-seek and tag. We have so much fun playing chess and checkers as well. Or sometimes we simply watch Disney movies together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is to understand this profession is responsible to form a new human being, so it's important to be patient and show the kids good manners, as in apologizing and being respectful to others. Molding their character is fundamental to turn them into good people when they grow up.
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have experience, but I'd love to learn more about it and be trained for it!
The most important part about being a nanny...
is when the kids show they really love our moments together. When the mother tells me her child is waiting for me to start work, so I can finally play with them, is something that fills my heart with joy!

Currently I am working on a small island off the coast of Massachusetts. I am working at a sandwich shop. I am a customer representative as well as a sandwich creator. Two summers ago I worked at an overnight summer camp, Camp Cody. This job taught me an extensive amount about working with children. At this camp I was the primary caretaker for the children in my cabin. I was on the clock at all times and worked 6 days a week. The year prior; I worked in a Daycare as a teacher. I worked with children of ages 6 weeks- 8 years. At the daycare I was a primary school teacher. I watched up to 25 kids at a time, which allowed me to strengthen many important skills. I learned how to act quickly and responsibly. I also improved my communication skills with parents, other staff and of course children. I have also been volunteering within the school system for 3 years. When volunteering I was working side by side with teachers and other staff to help enhance the school system for childre

Hi! I’m a 2020 Suffolk University Grad with a BS in Public Relations. I’ve taken care of children from a young age (lot of younger cousins!) During college I babysat for a family for two years where I cared for two boys (ages 4 and 7 when I started.) The older boy had type 1 diabetes so I have experience working with whatever extra needs your child may have. I am currently a nanny for a family with 3 children who are 5,3, and 20 months. Seeking full time employment for the fall or possibly late August. I’m looking forward to connecting with your family!
