I was an ABA therapist for a leading organization. This is Applied Behavior Analysis therapy and typically focuses on children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) however I worked with a number of kiddos without ASD.

The most important part about being a nanny is the influence that you create on the children, the impact. I like to think that the kids will remember the life lessons and take them along as they grow and develop. These children are the future, so it is extremely important to me as a nanny to ensure that each of your children not only have a teacher or a good influence, but a best friend as well.

It’s hard to choose a single one, but my favorite moment to this day is when I am leaving for the night and the kiddos (ive worked with for almost 6 years) run out the front door and yell “bye, miss you, bye, come back soon!” and wave to me until they can no longer see my car. SO PRECIOUS!
