The most important part about being a nanny...
As with any parental or guardianship role, the most important thing for me as a nanny is to provide ways in which the children can step into their own confidence and personalities as well as build up their self-esteem.
My experience with special needs children...
Very little. I've had some experience caring for children on the spectrum , but these children are very high functioning. I believe special needs children need and deserve extra special attention which is unfortunately out of my comfort zone.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love taking the kids on new, exciting adventures where they can learn about and see new things. One time I got to take two of my girls to our local aquarium. Watching their faces light up seeing all the animals is priceless.
