I have five children, I have been a mother for 19 years. I don’t have any degrees but I got common knowledge, I have had a lot of children stay at our home and I know how to care for children. I also have a child with high functioning autism. I had another child that had ADHD. I have patience with children and I have love for children. I enjoy seeing them learn and laugh and play, they are beautiful gifts from God.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have five children, my boys play football, baseball and race motocross!! My one daughter plays volleyball ball and my other daughter loves dance! We love being outdoors and just playing, we like getting dirty and love swimming playing games, watching movies and turning up the music and just dancing!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part is letting the parents know their child or children are safe!! It’s not easy trusting someone with the most important thing in your life. It’s important to have good communication with each other, I want the child or children to trust me and know they are safe with me , I want the parents to know their children are safe with me. I will treat your children like I treat my own. With love, respect, understanding. I think it’s so important that’s parents can go to work and not worry about if there children or okay.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a 14 year with autism. Living with him and dealing with his needs has really taught me a lot. His teachers and therapist and the ABA therapy has really taught me a lot!
