Activities I enjoy doing with children...

With over 10 years of experience, I love planning fun activities for children of all ages—whether indoors or outdoors. For newborns and infants, I focus on gentle play like tummy time, storybooks, and soft music to support early development. Toddlers enjoy simple arts and crafts, building blocks, or outdoor bubble play and sidewalk chalk. For school-aged children, I like to mix in creative projects, board games, baking, scavenger hunts, and outdoor play like bike riding, sports, or park adventures. Teenagers often enjoy more engaging activities like cooking together, board or card games, volunteering opportunities, or just hanging out with music, movies, and meaningful conversations. My goal is always to create safe, fun, and age-appropriate experiences that encourage growth, learning, and lots of smiles.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny, to me, is building a safe, loving, and trusting relationship with both the children and their family. I believe children thrive best when they feel secure, valued, and encouraged, so my focus is always on creating an environment where they can learn, grow, and simply enjoy being kids. Being a nanny isn’t just about supervision—it’s about nurturing their development, supporting their creativity, and being a dependable presence they can count on every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Some of my best memories with the children I’ve cared for are the times we spent exploring Kansas City and the surrounding metro area. We loved making little adventures out of our days—whether it was visiting the zoo to see the animals, exploring science centers and museums, or simply enjoying the parks and playgrounds scattered throughout the city. Each outing felt like a new adventure, and I loved seeing the children’s faces light up with excitement as they discovered something new. It wasn’t just about keeping them entertained, but about creating lasting memories, encouraging their curiosity, and showing them how much fun the world around them can be. Those experiences reminded me why I love working with kids—they see magic in everything.

Lily G. - Seeking Work in Kansas City

Babysitter Available in Kansas City, MO: Lily G.

Hi! My name is Lily, and I'm a 17-year-old senior looking for babysitting or part-time nanny opportunities in the Northland/Kansas City area. I've been babysitting and nannying for the past 3 years and truly love working with kids. I'm certified by the American Red Cross in CPR, First Aid, and AED, so safety is always my top priority. I play volleyball and row, which have taught me responsibility, teamwork, discipline, and time management. I also have five siblings, so I've grown up helping care for younger children, and I have three dogs, so I'm very comfortable with pets. I'm dependable, patient, energetic, and love planning fun activities, helping with homework, playing outside, and creating a safe, positive environment where kids can learn, laugh, and have fun. I'm available for babysitting, date nights, after-school care, weekends, and part-time nannying. I'd love to help your family!!!
