The most important part of being a nanny is being that safe space for the child while parents aren’t available. Learning and playing is beyond important. If child or parents don’t feel comfortable with who is doing the teaching, then it won’t be beneficial for anyone. I’m here to let the parents do what they need to do and know their child is safe, happy, healthy, and learning.

My forever favorite nanny moment was the first time the little girl I nannied for spelled her name out loud at just one years old. Her parents acknowledged that they weren’t focusing on her spelling her name like that, which means she learned it from me. It was truly a moment where I saw my hard work pay off and I was so excited for her. We had the best relationship and we both learned a lot from each other
