As an ECE I have an age appropriate curriculum that I follow daily to ensure children are engaged and reaching developmental milestones. This can include anything from crafts, experiments, practicing writing, number/letter recognition and even incorporating physical activities outdoors. Since my typical age group is only 4 years old we are unable to go on field trips but with my previous job that included children 5+ we would go to the zoo, museums, sports games, parks, etc.
