I started babysitting seven years ago as a fun way to earn money on weekends. A couple of years later, I was asked to nanny for a family friend, and since then I've taken on three other long-term nanny families. It's been bittersweet moving on from each one due to relocations, but I've gained so much from every experience. I also spent six months working as a teacher's assistant in a preschool, and over a year at a children's art center.

One of my favorite memories is with a sweet one-year-old who loved ducks! When spring rolled around, I took him to a nearby pond to watch the ducklings waddle around with their mommas. We made it a weekly outing and got to watch the little ducks grow!
