The most important part about being a nanny...
making sure the child/children are safe mentally, physically, and emotionally. I believe it's also my job to be making sure we are having fun and teaching each other new things everyday.
My experience with special needs children...
My brother does have ASD so I know how to help if the child does get over stimulated, and how to communicate, if your child is nonverbal, I am learning ASL at the moment so hopefully I will be able to communicate with them as well.

I graduated Cabrini College with a BA in education and was finally ready to make that dream come true. I taught in Philadelphia for about 10 years, at two different Early Learning Centers and have extensive experience and knowledge when it comes to children and learning. Throughout highschool & college I worked as a babysitter, in a daycare and summer camp and continued to broaden my knowledge and love for children. I worked as an ABA therapist(one-on-one therapist) for about two years, working with mostly autistic children. I have a close friend who's son is autistic and I wanted to help her in any way I could, and learn more about it. I have worked with children with other disabilities before but autism felt like a mystery to me and I wanted to try to understand it. It brings joy to my soul when the children I helped mold, are growing up into lovely young adults. It takes a tribe!
