A little bit about me

I am only looking to be a summer nanny. I am a college student at Winona State University. I am finishing up my freshman year. I am majoring in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I really enjoy working with children and it has been a passion of mine for a long time and it is why I have decided to become a teacher. I am currently working at the child care center on campus with toddlers ages 1-3. I am 18 and about to turn 19. I have a severe Tree Nut Allergy. I was a dance instructor at Just For Kix for three years in high school. I worked with ages pre-school to 5th grade. I have experience in educational settings from a couple classes in high school, I was in a kindergarten classroom and a 5th grade classroom.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Classroom experience from high school classes, 5th grade and kindergarten. Currently working with toddlers at my campuses child care center. I worked 3 years as a dance instructor for Just For Kix with ages pre-school to 5th grade.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outdoor activities like going to the park or riding bikes or playing with chalk, etc. Indoor activities like playing board/card games, reading books, watching cartoons, drawing/coloring, etc. I really enjoy doing lots of things that children enjoy doing.

Caring about the kids in any situation and caring about them on every level, mentally, emotionally, physically, etc.

I haven't been a nanny before but I have done babysitting for people I know before. There are probably a lot of things I could say but I just love moments with kids. Kids are so fun!
