I took care of my own 5 children when they were young until grown up. Have experienced taking care of 3 kids ages 7, 9 and 11 in San Jose California before I became a caregiver with cases of patients having g-tube, and couldn’t speak well which is above whisper and elderly with dementia and bipolars. Have experienced working with homecare facility with mental disorder patients.

The most important part of a nanny is to make sure the kids are safe and sound and that a nanny should see to it that they are doing well and are happy throughout the day. Must be able to assist their physical, mental, social and spiritual well being and treat them as your own children.

I haven’t had much with children with special needs. Used to work with mentally disabled young adults.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When kids are having fun time playing with me and they are respectful and they behave well. When they are doing well in their studies and they are learning about how they could do things on their own and do better as a normal child growing up as it should be. I will be happy seeing them achieve their goals for the day makes my favorite moment.
