More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at the Access Early Childhood Campus for 2 years in a 3-4 y.o. classroom and became the Aftercare supervisor there after about a year. I was trained in every age group including the infant room for a couple of weeks.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going outside; hiking, walking, biking. I also LOVE doing arts and crafts with kids whenever it's a rainy day.

My experience with special needs children...

Is very vast! i have experience working with children who have CP, Autism, Adhd, Down Syndrome, and lots more. It's definitely one of my biggest passions to support this community with love, empathy, and patience.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My last day working at the preschool, I saw one of the kids from my class and their mom on their way out the door. I told the mom my news and she gave me a hug. We both started crying from talking about all the progress her kiddo made and how close we'd gotten. I asked for a hug then with a colored picture of pinocchio in hand, this child looks at the picture and back at me. Spoken very assuredly they say "Pinocchio says 'No'." This mom tried to convince her kid, but I said "Oh okay, Ask pinocchio if I could have a high five." Within a couple seconds they look at the picture, then run to come give me a high five while I'm trying to stop crying. Started crying again.
