A little bit about me

I love working with kids of all ages! I grew up with five siblings, and have always loved helping take care of my younger brothers and sisters. I am also involved with teaching children at my Church. I teach a preschool class at my Church each week with about ten 4-5 year olds. I also have had experience with respite work. During the first year and a half of COVID-19 I did respite for a family with two sweet girls who have special needs. After graduating with my bachelor's degree in psychology, I began working as a registered behavioral technician. As an RBT, I provided ABA therapy to children ages 2-7. I recently got married and the commute to work was too much, so I am looking for part time work that is close to home.

I love to get creative with kids! I love to make fun crafts for kids to do, and love to teach kids how to bake. I enjoy taking kids to the park or on walks.

I have a lot of experience working with children with down syndrome and/or autism. My youngest sister (who is 10) has down syndrome and autism. I did respite work for several years with children who have down syndrome, and I have worked as an RBT with children who have autism.
