A little bit about me

Hi I am married with 2 teenagers and have been a stay at home mom for 18 years! I love kids and would enjoy helping you with your children. Teaching them to be kind to others, loving and responsible. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing however am only looking for a part time position. I could help you with meal prep, planning and picking up/dropping off your kids. I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 2:30-5:30 or 6 pm only. I can be flexible with a 1-2 day notice.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered regularly at my church daycare. I have my own children and have babysat my brother's kids and friend's kids as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy teaching arts and crafts with kids. Reading stories, writing if age appropriate and talking to them. Telling stories and asking questions. Teaching them age appropriate chores. I love cooking so this is something I enjoy teaching.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe knowing their needs before they try to tell you about them. Sometimes the kids are unable to express themselves and we the caregiver need to recognize this need.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have experience with special needs. Other than my son has ADD and sometimes there were challenging situations that I needed to learn to overcome.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love teaching kids something. Whether it is a chore, cooking, reading...something. I love when they feel good about themselves. When the child sees that they "can do it", they feel proud of themselves.
