I have worked in daycares with groups of children age infant, 1-2, 3-5, and 5+. I have been a short-term nanny for a newborn infant as well as 2 children aged 1 and 2 years. I was a first-grade teacher caring for children in a different setting age 5-7 years.

My favorite activity is to go to the park; I try to do this whenever weather permits (varies according to the parents). I enjoy creative projects such as painting and crafts if supplies are provided. I believe in child-lead activities, so I really try to learn their interests and be flexible to what they want to do that day and expand on that.

It's important to me to build relationships with each family and make sure everyone has a good experience. I want to make sure that the children have developmentally appropriate and engaging fun in a safe and comfortable environment that builds their confidence and happiness day to day.

My favorite nanny moment has to be when, on one of my days off, the mom sent me a video of the child (2 years) singing a song she made up about me. It was such a rewarding experience!
