I worked at a daycare in Ainsworth Iowa in the summer of 2024. I worked with kids from 1 to 10 years old. I was mostly with the school age children. I ran the school kids room on my own with about 10 children ages 5 to 11. I would make activities for them to do inside, take them to the park, go on walks with, exc.
I baby sat my 5 year old cousin all summer in 2025. I watched her at her house but we would often go to my house. I took her to the park, out to lunch, running errands we always keep busy! Id always take her 10 year old brother out with us if he was home and if any of his friends were around either. I have been baby sitting her occasionally since she was around 1 years old. Ive watched my 11 year old sister since before I can remember and have been baby sitting for other families since I was 13.

I enjoying spending time with children doing anything. I love taking them to the park, out to new places like splash pads with their friends and love watching them have a good time.
My experience with special needs children...
I have not specifically worked with children with special needs but I have worked with adults. I worked at WCDC in Washington Iowa during highschool. I worked at a day hab hanging out and making activities for the adults that attended.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One day this summer I got to take my 3 younger cousins and sister out to a splash pad in Kalona Iowa. I spent the day with them and took them out for ice cream after. I love making memories with them and seeing them happy.
