A little bit about me

I am originally from Brazil and my first job ever was a Nanny position and since then I fell in love with working with kids. I have five years of professional experience as a Nanny (ages: 6 months old to 10 years old). Since I started working with kids all I want is to keep studying about how I can help the little ones have a better, happier and healthier childhood and make them feel listened and respected. I studied about child development, how to understand and support their feelings and how to guide their emotions. I had classes with specialists in positive and respectful educational methods. In college,I learned how a child develops, health conditions, child psychology, oral health and mental support. I am a stepmother of an 11 years old boy that has ADHD and I started to study and research how I could help him to feel more productive, organized and focused and since then he has improved significantly. I love to play, sports, cooking, yoga, arts, books and be mindful.
