I have eight years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including classrooms, after-school programs, and community environments. Throughout this time, I have also worked closely with children who have special needs, providing individualized support, adapting activities to meet their unique abilities, and helping create an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere. These experiences have strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to respond to each child’s needs with empathy and understanding.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
We could take them outside for a nature scavenger hunt, draw with sidewalk chalk, blow bubbles, have a little picnic at the park, or even go for a bike or scooter ride and play follow the leader. Inside we could do some crafts, bake something simple they can decorate, make up a story together, whip up some slime or playdough, or build a big blanket fort. We could also try a few fun learning activities like easy science experiments, reading books with silly voices, working on puzzles, or planting some seeds to watch them grow. And if we want something more active, we can set up a treasure hunt, play freeze dance, pull out some board games, or do a round of Simon Says
