growing up I volunteered at my church daycare. I come from a big family so I have been raised to know how to care for children. In high school I also volunteered in my schools special education class, and I have a brother who is special needs so I have experience there as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I'd definitely say safety, even if we are at the house, long moments of quiet make me nervous as a caretaker, and especially out of the house I have my head on a swivel making sure I am aware of our surroundings at all times.
My experience with special needs children...
I mainly have experience with household needs, daily care such as restroom, meals, and entertainment. I also have experience without outdoor activities like swimming and adventures away from the house.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Probably when I was younger and my mom and I cared for a brother and sister. and the little sister was getting ready for bed and she needed me to sit with her so she could fall asleep; small moments like that when I knew she felt safe with me made a huge impact on how I carried myself.
