At my previous place of work I worked directly with children during sensory workshops and activities. I helped guide them through projects, made sure they were safe and comfortable, and communicated with both children and their parents. I also learned how to be patient, handle different personalities, and keep children engaged while creating a fun and positive environment.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing a little bit of everything with children, especially baking, arts and crafts, coloring, playing with toys, and making snacks together. I also love being active, whether that’s going to the park, playing sports, or doing other physical activities. For a more relaxed day, I enjoy watching movies together and just spending time playing and hanging out.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I want them to feel like they can be themselves, have fun, and know that they have someone they can trust. I also think being patient, responsible, and actually enjoying spending time with them makes a big difference.
