More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have always been around children since I was a child myself. Growing up as the youngest in my family I was always my brothers and sisters top pick as babysitter. I became aunt at the age of 6 and from there started immediately babysitting. My oldest niece is currently 14 and my youngest nephew is 1. Having a big family is such a blessing to me. Being able to be such a big part of the kids lives has shown me how precious kids are and how showing up truly matters.

I also have experience being a swim instructor for ages 3-13! :)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I believe that enjoying childhood is what truly matters! Some of my favorite activities and ones that leave core memories. Whether it is reading a book to them while helping them read it themselves or going to the park for hours on end. I believe that kids need more engagement in their lives. One of my favorite activities that I did as a kid was arts and crafts. I believe arts and crafts is a great way to allow kids to truly expand their minds and use their imaginations. Some arts in crafts I liked doing was holiday themed ones- depending on which holiday we would use different materials to create different things. Such as for thanksgiving we would make hand turkeys using craft paper and markers!:)

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is being there. I believe kids need stability and love, they need someone who is going to show up for not only them but the family. When I think about being a nanny I always go back to the saying “ it takes a village” . Which is true, to raise a child it takes many. I want to be a positive impact in childrens lives the same way many have been in mine. I want to be able to help kids learn , express, and be true to themselves. To uplift and show them that they can absolutely be whoever they want in life. Being a nanny isn’t just taking care of kids its about showing up for those in need.
