A little bit about me

I’m a professionally trained newborn care specialist. I specialize in helping out parents with their newborns in their first few months of life. I support them with establishing a healthy feeding & sleep routine overnight while the parents get some rest.

I have background as a career nanny with 12+ years of experience working with kids ranging from 2 months to 12 years old. I grew up with a big family of many younger and older cousins, nieces and nephews and a love for nurturing. I have a passion in working with children of all ages. I have worked as a babysitter, camp counselor, infant/toddler teacher at Kindercare, and a nanny. I have nannied for many different families.

My day time rate starts at $20/hr and my night nanny/NCS rate starts at $35/hr

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked as a babysitter, camp counselor, infant/toddler teacher at Kindercare, and a nanny. I have nannied for many different families. I am now a newborn care specialist and working with newborns overnight to support the parents and/or let them get some sleep.

I enjoy engaging with the children. I enjoy making arts and crafts, playing sports with them, playing and games and even coming up with various games ourselves, I enjoy reading with them, and taking them out for activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me about being a nanny is connecting with the children and finding out their interests because every child is different. What works for one nanny family, may not work for another. It is also important to have great communication and a great relationship with the parents.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I realized the kids were growing up. When I first started with a nanny family, the 2 year old could not pronounce my full name until one day at the park I heard her scream my full name from across the playground. It was a bittersweet moment knowing she was growing up and not a little girl anymore.
