A little bit about me

Hi - My name is Angel and it’s a pleasure to meet you! I am a musician, yoga instructor, and nanny with 3 1/2 years of experience.

I am an excellent nanny. I believe I am an inquisitive, thoughtful, and fair-minded person. I am pretty active and enjoy exploring. I appreciate reading, music, yoga, and the outdoors. I enjoy perusing gardens, trails, and museums as well. I love to travel, camp, and be creative. My favorite hobby at the moment is cooking new cuisines.

I have a good amount of flexibility in my schedule as I work for myself and am searching for a long-term, full-time position with a family who wants an extra set of hands. I am First Aid and CPR certified and have recently completed my 300-hour yoga teacher training. I also have a clean and safe driving record.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a yoga and music teacher for three years in the Chicago Public Schools.

I have also nannied several children and work with three families regularly for date nights, school drop-offs, day trips, and general babysitting.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading, coloring, and doing crafts with children. I also enjoy taking kids to museums, beaches, plays, and movies (if age-appropriate). Going to the library is one of my favorites too, as there is always something to do there!

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part about being a nanny is that the kids are safe and that the parents and I are on the same page. Kids change often, but when there is great communication between caregivers, the kids benefit so much more.
