A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Angela Rice and I am 22 years old. I'm currently working at an elementary school as a substitute. I also run the After School Care program at the school. I began my journey watching children when I was in high school. I've been babysitting a family of 7 for the past 6 years. Through this experience, I've gained experience working with a special needs child. Although every child and their needs are different, this has helped me with patience and also understanding and providing for all the children in this family. Working at the school with children ages 3-12 years old has been the most beneficial for me in how I communicate and assist children. I also received my certificate in Early Childhood Education. I will be going back to school at Metro State in the fall. I know that help is needed during the summer when the kids are out of school. I'm open to meeting any family and the children in order to determine whether I would be beneficial in caring for your children.
