A little bit about me

Hi there, I’m a 30 year old Recreational Therapist who moved from California a year ago. I’m in between jobs right now as I wait to start working as an RT for the VA. Being an RT, I majored in designing activities and programs to help individuals with disabilities. I have worked in Salt Lake City at Camp Kostopulos where I designed recreational programs for the children there and I was a water safety instructor/lifeguard in Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa for military personnel and their children. When I first moved to Phoenix, I worked at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in their behavioral health unit. I am also a Certified Light Therapist who performs light therapy and myofascial release techniques sessions through my certification as a MELT Instructor. I grew up the oldest of three children with two younger brothers who are 8 and 6 years younger than I am, one who has been diagnosed with autism. My mother, being the good Spaniard she is, taught me how to care for the house and them.
