Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve taken college education courses and occasionally do little online classes to receive certificates that are good for a year. I have volunteered and been paid doing the church nursery. I’ve done babysitting since I was a pre-teen. I volunteered over the summers in high schools working with kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy tummy time, practicing all the milestones like rolling over, sitting, crawling, and walking. I love going on stroller walks, going to the park, and playing in the backyard. I love reading, singing, dancing, and playing pretend. My favorite is out of the house activities like the library, the zoo, museums, Gymboree, music class, swim class, play dates with their friends etc... Lastly as they get older I enjoy doing educational stuff like learning body parts, identifying things, colors, shapes, numbers, and letters.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There are so many amazing things about being a nanny. Helping with accomplishing milestones is probably what is most important to me and prepping children from infancy for school by teaching colors, shapes, body parts, numbers, letters, reading etc...
My experience with special needs children...
I have no personal experience with special needs. I’ve worked with infants that have had reflux, Torticollis, and Plagiocephaly.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Each time my littles accomplish a milestone or learn something new. Those are definitely my favorite and most memorable moments.
