More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’m a proud single mom who spent 27 years raising two thriving kids, and I bring a lifetime of professional medical and family care experience to your home.
Why I’m a Great Fit For Your Family:
Medical Background: 20 years as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) in pediatrics and family practice.
Safety Certified: Maintained continuous BLS/CPR certifications every two years for over 2 decades.
Family & Child Expertise: Studied child development social work classes and worked as a counselor at a women’s recovery center supporting single parents and children.
The Practical Stuff: I've taken extra parenting classes by choice and have successfully potty-trained three kids.
Kid-Approved: The little ones naturally gravitate toward me because I listen, give them my full attention, and love being goofy (my current best friend is 3 years old!).
I am looking for temporary roles while I launch a business, meaning I can give your family 100% of my focus and treat your children like my own!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts and crafts : I'm coloring drawing painting, making cards that talk. I teach children how to make cards at the talk.
Story time I usually tell a story that's made up on the spot It's a little improv or read a book
Music I love music I sing lullabies children's music Let me sing together we dance the wheels on the bus go round and round and they keep going lol
That includes dancing getting up and moving and grooving little exercise in there and wearing them out of course. Cooking nothing big just they help make things that usually go in the oven or the microwave anywhere from cookies to fruit salad and I love fruit me eat a lot of fruit.
I'm actually really good with children one to five That's my best or teenagers that hide the room we don't talk to me lol But they're kind of boring and I like to go on walks we walk the dogs forgot that one

Babysitter Available in Portland, OR: Noreth P.
Hi! My name is Noreth, and I’m a fourth-year student at Oregon State University. I’m currently home for the summer and have flexible availability, so I’m excited to help bring a fun, dependable, and nurturing presence to your family whenever it's needed. I love engaging kids through outdoor & indoor games, crafts, imaginative play, and other hands-on activities. I’m comfortable caring for 1–3 children at a time and am happy to help with cooking, meal prep, light housekeeping, swimming supervision, and keeping daily routines running smoothly. Communication is very important to me, so I always follow parents' preferred methods for updates and work closely with families to maintain household expectations. I also have my own car for transportation. While I don’t currently have CPR or First Aid certification, I’m more than willing to complete both courses if needed. I’m also comfortable working independently or alongside a parent who works from home or plans to be present during the day.

Physical activity is an important part of my family’s life — we practice jiu‑jitsu and prioritize fitness — and I love incorporating movement, outdoor play, and healthy habits into the children’s routines.
