I grew up as the second oldest of a family of 8, with full time working parents. I have experience of taking care of my younger siblings, and I also am a "stand by" babysitter for my younger siblings babysitter. What that means is that if she had something going on, I would go and watch her kids that she was babysitting. I'd feel more comfortable caring from 1 year olds and up. This summer I have a really open schedule, however, starting in August, I will mostly only be available in the evenings.
