A little bit about me

My name is Angelica Perez. I have been caring for/ teaching children since I started college in 2016. I volunteered at numerous schools and in the NICU at UF Health. I graduated from UNF with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Child Concentration in 2019. There, I completed multiple Child Development related courses and also have taken many Child Care courses in my time of work. Beginning in 2019, I started work in an Early Learning Center. I was a Teacher for toddlers aged 1-2 for 2 years until I had my own baby boy! I have been out of work for almost a year now, caring for my son. He is now six months and I am looking to go back to work. I have always loved spending time with children and I enjoy contributing to their development and growth. I have worked with children in a classroom setting and have not nannied yet, but I am very interested in doing so. I would love to provide one-on-one care for a little one!

I was a volunteer at UF Health’s NICU for six months. I completed an internship with Head Start for four months where I worked one-on-one with children two to five years old in the classroom. I then became a teacher in an Early Learning Center with one and two year olds for two years. I’ve also volunteered in numerous schools while in college.
