A little bit about me

Hello my name is Angelica Swartz. I have 100+ childcare training hours as well as 12 college credit hours. I've worked in childcare starting as a babysitter at 14 then continued to do child care as a private nanny when the kids grew up and were all in school I tried a daycare. I've worked there for 3 years now and still wishing to go back to being private. Being a private nanny allows you to build deeper connections with the children and allows for more child based learning.

My child was born at the end of June 2025 and I am looking for a family that will allow me to bring my child with me.

I have 10+ years of child care experience. 4 years of babysitting another almost 4 years as a private nanny and 3 years of a toddler Teacher. I have 12 college credit hours in childcare and 100+ training hours.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm big on art projects. I love seeing their motor skills grow and teaching new words. Names of dinosaurs are awesome to hear children try to say and help with thier annunciation of most words. Anything that will help the grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Children are future adults and need to be treated that way. We as child care providers need to teach them the skills they will need to function in society.

My experience with special needs children...

I have babysat for 2 special needs children. Nanny for a family of 5 with 1 special needs child. I also am trained to identify markers of special needs and can provide option on steps to go forward to best benefit the child. (Not a Doctor, will not diagnose, but can provide ways to get the child evaluates.)
