A little bit about me

I may be on the younger side for a nanny, but I have had a growing passion for working alongside children since being a pre-teen myself! I have over 10+ years of working with children (between the ages of 0-12 years) as a Sunday school teacher/mentor.
I find myself being hyper-organized, dependable, patient, self-composed, pride myself on my structure, but most importantly lively and energetic! Understanding the difficulties of life and parenthood (watching my own parents' daily struggles) allowed me to grow up independent and reliable...wishing to ease many parents' struggles has filled my heart with warmth. Having had the opportunity of working with children a majority of my own life allowed me to discover and pursue one day working as a Pediatric Therapist/aide.

I have experience being a Sunday school teacher and aide for over a decade.

Outdoors: going for walks, playing at the local park, blowing bubbles, and much more!
Indoors: reading, dancing, puzzles, watching movies/tv shows (preferably Bluey), eating, baking, and much more!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children on Level 1 of autism much more frequently than those on Levels 2 and 3.
I also have some experience working with children with Down Syndrome.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I served a pause on my Sunday school teacher duties because my school was over an hour away from my home church (the lack of attendance, etc). During this period of absence, I had not returned home for around two to three months...as I passed down the hall from the washroom, I was tackled and jumped by a bunch of children with no mercy. Struggling to regain control of my stance, the children expressed how much they had missed me and were excited to see me...I think about that moment a bunch.
