Melissa Hakeneis
"She was very hands-on with the girls and was always open to working. She loved doing small projects with them, many of which they still have. She always made sure the house was even cleaner than when we left it and took great care of our dog."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I took care of three kids (8 months, 5, 7). I cooked for them, took them to the park, cleaned the house, did the dishes, took the dog out, put them to bed, gave them baths if necessary. I took care of them for about 2 and a half years.
I also took care of one child (6 months) I cooked for him and cleaned up after him, took him to the park, played with him, put him to sleep. They had a dog I also took care of. I took care of him for about a year and half.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love go on walks especially to the park I remember always loving the park and its a great way to release energy! I also love arts and crafts I do a lot of them at home so im always happy to introduce them to the kids im taking care of it really encourages creativity as well!
The most important part about being a nanny...
From a young age I have always been passionate about childcare, I nurtured this instinct constantly through playing with baby dolls and caring for my younger relatives. Being there for the children's growth and development has always been profoundly rewarding for me. I really aspire to create lasting, positive memories for the children even if that will just be a silly game they can look back on fondly. I always approach caregiving as not merely a job, but as a vital role in shaping a child's mind, helping them grow, and facilitating their learning.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One moment I will always remember is babysitting three girls who were siblings and for about two weeks they insisted on switching names! It was so fun and pretty impressive how long they were able to keep up with correcting me!!
