"Ann has many strengths and her greatest asset to our family was her ease of communication. Anytime I would text Ann during the workday, she would reply with photos or videos. She was able to anticipate my son's needs and was always up for any adventure and had fun crafty projects to do.
I will continue to keep in touch with Ann for babysitting now that my son transitioned to Kindergarten. I would recommend her for your next nanny."

"Ann was a pleasure to work with. Her flexibility, timeliness, energy and her gift with our children was refreshing. We had some flaky employees prior and were so relieved to leave our precious twin boys in her care. Definitely recommend Ann"

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Most of my life, starting at age 12, I felt the connection w children and I create bond very quickly and children know it very quickly. I was preschool teacher 5-6 year olds, wobblers ages 1-2, Medical Assistant, children business owner, mother of 3 grown children, grandmother, and began being a nanny when I was 23, I am now 59. Our home was full of children constantly and I loved every minute. My prior employers would say that I am like a grandma to children and very nurturing. I have been referred to as "The child whisperer" numerous times.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going to Catipult, OMSI, the zoo, library, Children's Museum, playground, reading, cooking and baking together. making play doh, “slime,” finger paint, crafts, nursery rhymes, bubbles, outdoor activities. I often have children's friends and cousins over for a day of fun! The more the merrier.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is mutual love, patience and respect. I believe very young babies can sense these things, especially stress. So it is vital to remain calm at all times even in stressful situations. And, of course, safety is crucial when working w children. I would throw myself in front of a bus to protect a child.. Building a bond with the family is crucial. We are a team and I work for parents too and want to build that kind of harmony where our goal is to build a healthy, confident child.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with child with ADHD and anger issues, and a 5 year old w autism and ADHD.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I worked with twin 3 year olds boys and one has issues with anxiety and I was able to build such a strong bond that he completely trusted me and is now very secure and doesn't show anxiety signs.
