A little bit about me

I am Ann (: I am 36 years old and a single mother to a beautiful 8 year old daughter. I currently hold a certification as a Registered Behavioral Therapist, CPR, and first aide! I have center based and in-home based therapy experience and have worked with children ranging in ages 3-11 years old. Right now in-home therapy is hard to come by for full time hours and that is what I need for bills and whatnot. Lost my daughter's father 6 years ago so just me and her, but I do have help to watch her so I can take on any jobs. I have worked with children with an array of behaviors and know how and have been trained how to de-escalate those situations if they were to ever arise. I will ensure a safe enviornment, always. I love cooking, baking, and cleaning, so I do not mind helping out with any of those things as well. I will maintain high energy for the kiddos and ensure to build a rapport with you and the kiddos as well. CPR/FIRST AID certified & a certified Registered Behavioral Therapist.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in-center and in-home and still carry a valid license as a certified Registered Behavioral Therapist. Can provide RBT cert. Number and website to validate. I was a gymnastics coach and worked with children. I have worked with an array of different ages, behaviors, special needs, verbal and non-verbal (AAC or no AAC) children. Your child's safety and well being is my top priority. They will always be seen, heard, and have their feelings validated. If any situations arise, I will always remain calm to not escalate any behaviors. Again, your child(ren)'s safety, well being, needs, and much more are and will always be my top priority!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Painting, coloring, drawing, dancing, singing, swinging, going to the park, cooking and baking, reading stories, making forts, and the list can go on for forever. As long as your child is happy, motivated, engaged, and having fun, I am enjoying my time no matter the activity! With my RBT background, I prefer the child(ren) pick their preferred activities, as long as it is safe of course, because I know they will be having fun, be happy, stay motivated, and engaged.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Ensuring each and every child is safe, ensuring their well being, they are happy, healthy, learning, having fun, and, again, the list goes on and on.
